SOUTHERN & EAST AFRICA- THE SAFARI HOTSPOTS
Africa is the 2nd largest continent after Asia. Needless to say the diversity is mind boggling and the options are endless. Any number of combinations can be planned for depending on your specific interests and travel requirements; whether purely safari oriented, cultural, “bush & beach”, easy leisure or intrepid adventure style for single travellers, couples or families, there is something specific for everyone.
The African safari tourism industry is extremely well organised and able to make any idea of a dream a reality, with the right planning. The challenge and the aim is to have a seamless, impactful and immersive experience that is a personal investment in your future. Your time on safari is important, and it is imperative that you are able to make the most of it.
For the ultimate luxury safari experience, I have teamed up with the very professional group of agents at The Luxury Safari Company Ltd., who I have come to know over the years as an extremely well organised and reputable travel company that has all the necessary qualities I am proud to work with for responsible and sustainable safari tourism. Between the team there is no destination that is left to be seen.
PRIVATELY GUIDED SAFARIS
This is where you, the client are accompanied for the duration or parts of your itinerary by an experienced private guide who is the consistent link between clients, operators and local guides.
This is useful for specialist safaris such as birding or photography, groups or families. Here the private guide is able to provide extra in depth knowledge and information on the particular topic(s) of focus. Best for small groups or families and ensures a more streamlined experience. Certain destinations and group specifications recommend or require the use of private guides. The fundamental objective of a private guide is to add unquantitative value to your safari journey.
The private guide works in conjunction with the local guide when planning activities and can control expectations and pace and intensity of the safari experience.
The most important factor in determining the levels of experience is your budget and time allocation. And one thing is for sure, you tend to get what you pay for…
It is important to note that most Safari establishments Do Not get accredited according to star ratings.
